Session History — Frequently Asked Questions

What does the History page track?
History records every breathing, focus, meditation, sleep, and timer session you complete on this site — the session type, start time, and duration. It's summarised into total sessions, minutes relaxed, your current streak, and active days, plus a 7/30-day activity chart and a monthly calendar view.
Is my session history stored on a server?
No. There's no account and nothing is uploaded — every entry is saved with localStorage directly in your browser on this device. If you clear your browser data, use a different browser, or switch devices, your history won't be there.
Is this free, with no signup required?
Yes. There's no account, no email, and no paywall anywhere on the site. History simply starts logging automatically the first time you complete a breathing, focus, meditation, sleep, or timer session.
How is my streak calculated?
Your current streak counts consecutive calendar days on which you completed at least one session. Completing multiple sessions in a day doesn't add extra streak days, but missing a full day resets the streak count back to zero the next time you practise.
Can I export my session history?
Yes — the Export CSV button on this page downloads your full session list (type, date, and duration) as a spreadsheet file you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any CSV-compatible app. This is also the only way to back up your history, since nothing is stored remotely.
How do I clear my history?
Use the Clear button above the session list to permanently delete all recorded sessions from this browser. This action can't be undone, so export a CSV backup first if you want to keep a record of your practice.
Why don't I see any sessions listed yet?
History only logs sessions completed on this device and in this browser. If you've just started, open Breathing or Focus Mode and finish a full session — it will appear here immediately afterward. Sessions closed or refreshed before completion aren't recorded.
What's the difference between the Activity chart and the calendar view?
The Activity chart plots session counts across a rolling 7 or 30 day window so you can spot short-term trends, while the monthly calendar shows every day of a chosen month at a glance so you can see gaps and consistency over longer stretches.
Can I filter my history by session type?
Yes. The filter buttons above the session list let you narrow the view to just Breathe, Focus, Meditate, Sleep, or Timer sessions, which is useful for checking how much time you've spent on one specific practice.
How is History different from the Stats page?
History is the practice log — a chronological list of individual sessions with filtering, charts, and export. Stats gives a broader summary view of your usage patterns. If you want to review or export specific past sessions, use History; for a quick overview, Stats is faster.
