By accessing or using ASMR Sanctuary at asmr-relax.top you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

1. About the Service

ASMR Sanctuary is a free, browser-based wellness application providing ambient sounds, visual simulations, guided meditation, breathing exercises, mood journaling, and related mindfulness tools. The service operates entirely within your web browser and requires no account or registration.

2. Use of the Service

You may use ASMR Sanctuary for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the synthesized audio engine or visual simulations for commercial purposes
  • Use automated tools to scrape, download, or mirror the service at scale
  • Misrepresent affiliation with ASMR Sanctuary

3. No Account or Personal Data

ASMR Sanctuary does not require registration and does not collect personal data. All user data (journal entries, session history, settings, custom mixes) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

You are solely responsible for managing and backing up your local data via the Export function in Settings.

4. Health Disclaimer

ASMR Sanctuary is a wellness tool for relaxation, focus, and mindfulness. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The guided meditations, breathing exercises, and ambient sounds are for general well-being only.

If you experience any discomfort — including dizziness, anxiety, or tinnitus — stop use immediately. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before using any wellness tool if you have a medical condition. The breathing techniques on this site (including Wim Hof and hyperventilation-adjacent methods) should not be practised near water or while driving.

5. Intellectual Property

All synthesized audio code, visual simulation code, and content on ASMR Sanctuary is the property of ASMR Sanctuary. The Web Audio API synthesis code, Canvas 2D simulation algorithms, and user interface designs are original works. You may share links to the service freely.

6. Third-Party Resources

ASMR Sanctuary self-hosts all typefaces (Inter, Cormorant Garamond) directly from our own server. No external font CDNs, advertising networks, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels are loaded.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ASMR Sanctuary is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. Browser-based audio synthesis depends on Web Audio API support, which varies by browser and device.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASMR Sanctuary and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data stored in localStorage due to browser clearing or device failure.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account to use ASMR Sanctuary?
No. ASMR Sanctuary requires no registration, login, or email address. You can use every sound, visual, timer, and journaling feature immediately, and there is no account to agree to these Terms on behalf of.
Is ASMR Sanctuary really free to use?
Yes. The service is free for personal, non-commercial use, with no paywalls, subscriptions, or hidden tiers. Commercial redistribution or reverse-engineering of the audio and visual engines is not permitted under these Terms.
Where is my journal, mood, and settings data stored?
All of it stays in your browser's localStorage on your own device — journal entries, session history, custom mixes, and preferences. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and we have no access to it.
What happens to my data if I clear my browser or switch devices?
Because data lives only in localStorage, clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or switching to a new device will not carry it over. Use the Export function in Settings to back up your data before doing any of these things.
Does ASMR Sanctuary use cookies or tracking scripts?
No. The site loads no advertising networks, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels, and sets no cookies. Fonts are self-hosted from our own server rather than pulled from a third-party CDN.
Can I use ASMR Sanctuary as a substitute for medical or mental health treatment?
No. The site is a wellness tool for relaxation, focus, and mindfulness, not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Consult a qualified healthcare provider if you have a medical concern, and stop use if you feel dizziness, anxiety, or discomfort.
Am I allowed to embed or redistribute the sounds and visuals elsewhere?
You may share links to ASMR Sanctuary freely, but the synthesized audio engine, Canvas-based visual simulations, and interface code are our property and may not be copied, reverse-engineered, or redistributed for commercial purposes.
What if the breathing exercises make me feel unwell?
Stop immediately if you experience dizziness, anxiety, or discomfort. Some breathing techniques on the site, including Wim Hof-style and hyperventilation-adjacent methods, should never be practised near water or while driving, and anyone with a medical condition should check with a healthcare provider first.
How will I know if these Terms change?
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects any revisions to these Terms. There is no email notification since no accounts or addresses are collected, so continued use after a change is treated as acceptance of the revised Terms.
Who is liable if I lose data stored in my browser?
Because all data lives client-side in localStorage, we are not liable for data loss caused by browser clearing, device failure, or private browsing. Backing up important entries via the Export function in Settings is your responsibility.
